Course Objectives | The aim of the course is to help students improve the technical capacity to produce subtitle translations for audiovisual resources such as movie, series and documentary, to discuss translation challenges different genres bring and translation strategies suitable for these genres, and to produce subtitle for the audio-visual texts in different genres. |

Course Description | The course involves analyzing subtitle translation for audiovisual resources in terms of technical and theoretical perspectives, examining the prevalent translation problems on examples and reinforcing the subjects dealt with several exercises. |
